The Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) was submitted to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) in June 2015. The Preferred Alternative included in the FEIS consists of Four and Six Lane Arterial improvements at specific location on Pyramid and the US 395 Connector. The proposed High Speed High Access Controlled Arterial improvements are the result of additional traffic modeling, design refinements and environmental impact analysis of the preferred alternative included in the DEIS. On March 3, 2015 the team gave a Presentation to the projects Technical Advisory Committee. The proposed Preferred Alternative was identified as Alternative 3 in the DEIS.
A Conceptual Phasing Plan has been prepared that shows how potential phasing of the design and construction could occur should the project be approved and funding become available.
The FEIS is anticipated to be made available to the public in early 2016.
